That's the aspect of auto-hold we really appreciate - the way it interacts with the engine stop/start system. With auto-hold engaged you can take your foot off the brake and the engine remains stopped. Much more relaxed city and town driving. After 5 years of it in our F25 X3 we are very reluctant to go without in our next car.
