I'm sorry but what you've written there is just plain nonsense - you have to manually engage the park park - that's not auto hold. What you have described is the auto-release function that every car with an electronic park brake has.

In answer to the original question - no I don't think you can. I asked about this when I was looking at the X1 and realised (in our Australian market and apparently yours as well) it didn't have an auto-hold function. While most of the work is just coding, you still need the button to engage auto-hold (which is blanked off in X1s in our market) which works with the coding.
