i have yet to experience this but given all that's been said in this thread, i'm sure i will at some point. combine that with me not really having driven the car a terrible amount because i'm working from home, and yeah, i just haven't had the opportunity to experience this issue, so we'll see. i'm expecting it but as to whether i find it just annoying or whether i find it dangerous is a big deal.'

i guess the takeaway here is to try to avoid situations in which i would need that split-second response, like pulling out into traffic where the gap is small enough to warrant that caution.
