I would think the screw point for the wing nut is there on all cars, but those that dont come with the option from the factory have a trunk lining without the hole exposing it.
You could remove the lining and see if just a small home in the right place would expose the screw point
The bracket ( no 8 in the picture above) is also required for a secure fit
