He says he was with his friends. Which I believe him as he lives an hour away and has a condo in New Orleans to escape the small town where he lives. He comes to New Orleans often enough to purchase a second home here. But it's the fact that he asked to take me to dinner, so I made sure I didn't have plans Friday or Saturday night, and now he wants to see me before he heads out this afternoon. Like no, you're not going to try to see me for the first time last minute. I have plans with my girlfriend to get drinks this afternoon and other shit I need to get done this morning, since I had previously cleared my schedule. It's probably an oversight on his part, but he's just going to have to wait to meet me, if we still continue to text this week.
I'm not wrong for saying no, right?
