So lately I've been noticing sometimes when I hit the gas (more than half throttle) from a stop or while moving the car immediately moves, sometimes it takes 1/2 second then "wakes" up. I'm leaning towards heat soak, as it never happens during the first couple minutes of driving.

It's similar to the old carburetor cars where they'd get hot, and the fuel would boil in the carb while running, and you'd get all kinds of off idle bogs.

Anyone else notice this in the x1 35i platform? No noticeable different in sport mode vs regular.
