Possibly? I don't think BMW has commented about that.

For now the hidden space under the trunk used for the spare tire (if you choose that option when you order) or simply extra space.
It's about time that BMW finally offered an optional spare tire.
Many years later and I still don't like run flats with my current BMW, and probably never will.
