Yes - I did have to sign a VIN/Odo form, that transfers the car to the dealer
But that form was for DMV (I think) and said nothing regarding lease end/wear and tear
Other than above , There was no paperwork of any kind relating to my old car - nothing about damage or anything.
I was expecting some paperwork regarding the lease end inspection but I got nothing.
I called BMWFS 2 days after I turned in the Lease and they confirmed that the car shows up as returned to that dealer and I'm no longer liable for that car
But, based on what you said , I should be getting a letter from bmw In a few days , so let's see !
