It's a very dark gray with a silver thread, think of it as a metallic black vs jet black for the black top. It will work with black for sure but if you are ordering the black wheels, you may want to skip it for an all black look. However, keep in mind that it will be more forgiving of the inevitable crease marks and slight discoloration.
