Love this thing so far. Level 1 charger takes FOREVER, car was at 40% battery, and for it to reach 100% it'll need to charge for 33 hours, barely hitting 1.8 kW. Have someone coming by Tuesday to swap a non-functioning 20a 220v to a 40a 240v, should be able to charge on 32a. What's also neat is since we signed up for the Kia app, we got 1000 free kWh of DC fast charging.
Only thing I dislike about the car: For AA or CarPlay, phone needs to be wired (which I prefer over wireless), but there's no good spot to store your phone. USB is on the floor, wireless charger would be a good spot for the phone, but I'd have to turn the pad off… Don't like leaving it in the cup holder, or the cubby on the floor. |
Looks great! I've been seeing these and the Ioniq5's a bit around town, should be a good seller for Hyundai/Kia.
