Staggered setups with wider tires in the rear are going to increase understeer since the tires in the back will have more traction than the fronts. In a turn, the fronts will thus lose traction first and will cause the front to push.

I'm by no means a tire expert, but my educated guess would be more contact patch to the rear lets the computer send more power to the wheels decreasing understeer? Of course I'm just guessing.
But in any case wheel wise, I was about to pull the trigger on some CSL reps, but I kind of want a lip now that I'm going for a staggered setup. I may end up getting those Linea Corse Z2S or w/e they're called. CSL look but with a lip = hot.
