For real man! If you like scavenging you should look into bringing people into your settlement.
Farmers get you food for health and ingredients for adhesive.
Build a scavenging table and one of ur settlers will find scrap for you
Water spouts put extra purified water in workstation (material for making radaway which is super expensive to buy)
They can actually provide some benefit to you other than just a cool place to call home

Hahaha also look for tv dinner trays and other things that are made out of aluminum. Also if you sell weapons to traders, often they wont have enought money to pay you. Check out their junk section, chances are they have some aluminum stuff
