I have an apple keyboard with a 10 key and it is a wired keyboard (USB) so I don’t have to worry about battery life.
But if I was doing client financial work, I would probably go with a PC because I have decades of experience with that in a full work environment and just use the Mac at home for lesser tasks (I have a work PC laptop I keep at home just in case I have real work to do). I’m just a lot faster on the PC, but I’ve seen Mac users who can match my PC speed on their Macs, so I think this is just familiarity and frequency of use.
I’d suggest you get to an Apple store and try one out.
