We had to upgrade the firmware and then code the fullscreen carplay. Everything was done remotely. And it took about 20min total. Maybe less, but not more.
He clearly knows what he is doing. Reach out to him if you want fullscreen carplay on your X1's and X2's. It's finally available and you won't regret.
