Well I took the head unit out today, its an ee0002, aka a load of rubbish.
I can't believe in 2020 BMW are still pushing this old technology in new cars, it's beyond me.
So because it doesn't have the WiFi port on it, I can't get CarPlay coded in remotely.
Does anyone know if I buy an even older head unit off somewhere like ebay, that does have this WiFi port on it whether I can get that coded into my new car - and what implications that will have for the screen and iDrive controller?
