The BMS Intake for the X1 B48 Engine is the one that I purchased and fits perfect with my 28i.

I was in contact with BMS and they explained to me that the fitment will be perfect. The oval shape you can see from the images slots in perfectly with the stock O-rings for the MAF sensor. I'll upload pictures in a bit and send you the links.
I can hear the turbo spooling through my music as well as engine revs (no active sound installed and stock downpipe and exhaust). The only real change I did was get the BMS chip for the car and up my boost. I remember taking off the intake before the chip because it didn't yield any improvement over the stock intake other than some engine sound.
