There's a lot of people on the Civic forums who have switched to a SMF and it eliminated the rev hang issue. You can also tune it out but it doesn't go away completely. I understand that it's software RELATED but the hardware component is what needs to be changed (as long as you don't care about emissions). There's a reason why the Type R has a SMF.
