cwulffy: beware, there is such thing as ageing, and that will also hit - sooner or later - car enthuisasts/freak/nuts. Then you will not:
-spend Sundays driving on race tracks
-crawl out of a car at sidewalk level

You will also realise that you have done your share of the possible 10 million clutch operations, and opt for a vehicle with AUTO and SPORT modes, where you can have your beloved stick, but donīt need to operate the clutch. BMW with help of ZF sells these type of vehicles.
You will also like the added height - if opting for the dreaded High Rise -for better view of the lunatics that are driving around you.

I am at that age, and my first High Rise was current X4, with all performance goodies, but no electronic shit.

I was disapointed about steering precision and genaral handling, but after lowering, itīs okay - even if chassis comfort is a bit worse. Since then X4 M40i, has come out, and I recommend a testdrive to compare your current vehicle.

I am counting on M department to do their magic also on X2 M35i, or else I will not buy.
