OK, take a deep breath, everything will be fine

It looks like they just didnt torque the oil filter cap down tightly enough, causing it to allow oil out. Or didt fit the new O ring seal properly on the oil filter cap

Do not worry, this shouldnt have caused any major damage

I have seen this happen 4 times now on different BMW's



Best tell them to pick it up via a flatbed and take it back to be fixed.


they need to make shure the O ring seals are on properly and the cap is torqued on properly.
Then top up the oil and wash the engine bay AND the cars undercarrage.
