but the caymans/boxsters definitely look a step below the 911 when you see them on the street. Would definitely take a regular gt3 over any cayman. The performance difference between this and a gt3 would probably be negligible. its really just the difference of if you want an MR or RR layout at that point.

The GT3's engine is what's superior to me, specifically the Nikasil plated cylinder sleeves. They aren't susceptible to bore scoring and subsequent engine failure. Even the mighty (and expensive) 981 GT4 doesn't incorporate this process and at least one car, according to my indy tech who's in the know, is going to need a new engine. I'm not sure if the 718 GT4 uses Nikasil but given the cost and messy process involved, I doubt it.
