My 2018 X1 has low mileage also, with ~24,000 km or ~15,000 mi in ~3.5 years. and the original BMW warranty expired as of last November.
I intend to keep doing oil changes every year and brake fluid changes every 2 years at the BMW dealer. These 2 items are cheap insurance relative to the cost of buying, maintaining, insuring and gas for the car. Personally, I don't want to be bothered with worrying about them, or doing the work myself.
