Seat bolster is already showing wear. Any input?
My seat bolster is already showing wear/scratches on the leather at 8k miles. Going to have to try some leather dye then figure out a way to protect it from future wear. The worn section is only a very slim section running down one of the seams.
A few companies out there make color matched leather dye for BMW. People seem to get good results.
I run my bolsters pretty aggressive and don't want to change that. Was thinking of using one of the seat memory buttons as an exit button so it moves the seat back and opens up the bolster. Not sure I want to do that every time I exit the car.
Anyone have any idea what I could place over the bolster that would protect it, but not look too ugly?
Lots of bucket seats (Recaro, etc) make add-on pads for their seats because of this.
