No worries I totally understand what you mean! The evap/purge system has only hoses.. the gas cap, and this valve that went faulty so I'm betting its your issue. Our car ran perfectly fine actually but it did throw a bunch of random codes as such. Hope it's it!
Blame the environment on all these extra emissions parts and to kick you when you're down..making them out of certain plastic formulas that all degrade faster than they used to... or soy that rodents like to eat... or solder that has no lead and therefore just breaks on their own. I guess I shouldn't complain as it is true we need to save the environment for our kids .. so I'm also being a little sassy.. 😀
