Thanks guys - I appreciate the feedback. I almost fell out of my chair when the SA said it would take 8 hours!

So is the front strut assembly similar to the E46 assembly in that you can remove the strut and springs without taking the lower part of the suspension completely apart? Also, are the rear springs separate from the strut assembly (again like the E46) which is why they can be removed by hand? On the E46, you can eliminate the load on the spring by disconnecting the strut from the lower assembly.

I haven't had my car on a lift so I have no idea regarding the suspension on this car thus my questions.
