Top ten mods for your M3/M4!

First up congratulations to all who have picked up their new machines

I've put together a list of what I think would be the 'top ten' mods for your M3/M4, of course personal preferences would see people place different priorities on different areas of the car. More info and ordering information available on the BMR website at www.bmraw.com

Let's kick off with:

1. M Performance Gloss Black Grilles $429
Ditch the chrome grilles and go for this OEM pair from the M Performance Catalogue. The Gloss Black surrounds lend aggression to the car and help tie in with other gloss black parts of the car such as the window surround. An easy and natural first mod. Comes with new M3/M4 badge.

2. M Performance Black Side Grilles $199
Perfect addition to match your new gloss black grilles and eliminate the last bit of chrome from the exterior of the car.

3. iPE Valvetronic Exhaust $5,995
Now onto the fun stuff... the iPE exhaust was very popular with the E9X M3s and iPE are hoping to replicate this success with the new F8X. Featuring iPE's renowned remote control valvetronic technology as standard this gives you the choice of open mode, perfect for accompanying you on a spirited drive, closed mode for comfortable cruising and the intelligent auto mode that will have the valves closed until RPMs exceed a preset limit.

4. ar design downpipes $1,495
Whether or not you’re doing the rest of the exhaust, changing to a set of these free flowing downpipes will lend the car a more intoxicating exhaust note as well as power and torque gains. Power gains without tuning are around the 15-20hp mark – more so when combined with a tune! We’d recommend the high flow catted version.

5. JB4 S55 Tune $1,095
Speaking of tunes, Burger tuning have long been a pioneer in BMW tuning with their advanced piggybacks. Their new S55 JB4 follows in the same vein as previous JB4s meaning it caters to everything from stock cars to those with full bolt ons and E85 setups. Plus it allows on the fly map switching, so you can switch between stock and tuned with a press of the button on your steering wheel. Gains of ~30kw atw.

6. 3D Design Carbon Fibre Front Lip $2,695
Let’s talk carbon fibre! This particular example is from the carbon fibre specialists 3D Design and they have come up with this aggressive, yet restrained example. We’ve also got access to the Vorsteiner one (price TBA)

7. 3D Design Carbon Fibre Rear Diffuser $2,695
Balancing out the carbon fibre parts on the rump we have this beautiful carbon fibre diffuser. Perfect for accentuating your new exhaust.

8. Carbon Fibre Mirror Caps $1,099
Also from the 3D Design parts catalogue are these carbon fibre mirror covers that are, importantly, suitable for RHD cars. Crafted from the finest materials for 100% fit and finish.

9. Bilstein B16 Coilovers $3,850
Top quality Bilstein coilovers with damper adjustability for those who demand the most from their cars. Choose a slightly softer setting for your weekday commute and a few clicks at each corner will stiffen up the dampers, perfect for the occasional track day or your favourite set of twisties. In this state, this will delete the EDC, but the Bilstein Damptronic unit is coming soon and will retain the use of the EDC.

10. HRE FF01 Wheels $4,470
New design from HRE in their ‘flowform’ line, these lightweight wheels from one of the world’s leading wheel companies won’t break the bank either. 19” wheels weighing 10.7kg each (for the fronts) and priced at $4,470 for the set. 20” sets $200 extra. Of course if you need pricing on other HRE styles just ask! Free shipping Australia wide.
