Thanks for this...
I wonder why it is so hard to find this information.

My wife was just given a $6K estimate for 50K scheduled maintenance appointment. She had the check engine light come on once and then never came back on. No major issues with the car.

For some reason she says the service due light never came on on the car so she's very late on oil change. (2 years, yikes). That's on us.... She's always very good about taking the car in whenever the light comes on.
But she does drive VERY conservatively and doesn't race or rev the engine. Heck, I don't know if the throttle pedal has ever made it to the floor once. lol.

Anyway, the service advisor told her the following things the car "told" him it needed...

replace battery
diagnosis check engine light
replce front brake pads/rotors/sensor
PFGI- perform fuel injection service
PCCS perform cooling system exchange
PBSF perform brake fluid exchange
replace spark plugs
PD960 replace rear differential fluid
PT12LV/PTSC perform automatic trans fluid exchange
perform complete brake rehose

Does this sound like what a computer would report? I thought these computer based service reminders were just for engine oil, brake pads, and other smaller things...

$6K?! there goes the family disney vaca...
