Is that why I love that Mazda Red so much? (perhaps a hint of Orange in it) - in my opinion the best colour I have ever seen on a production car 
All previous advice is good - got to keep that left foot away from the pedals or you will be eating the steering wheel. There is a nice footrest there for a reason. The 8 speed Aisin gearbox is really good so you are being spoilt if this is your first automatic - enjoy.

It's a stunning red but pretty unique for a standard car colour in that it's not a single layer but built up over multiple layers - did add considerably to cost to repair.
