Every set of Michelin summer tires I've owned - to echo kurichan's comments - have been downright EVIL in cold temps - starting with a set of TRXs on a Mustang I owned long, long ago right after the planet coalesced into solid form.

But every set of Michelins I've owned have given me the best possible steering feel. The Pilot Sport GTs that came stock on the Miata would tell you if you had run over a 1/16" thick flat washer and also tell you whether you'd run over it on the inside or outside edge of the tread. (Just a slight exaggeration - but it's to make a point - I love the way the Michelins feel in hand.)
