I have xDrive on my xLine, and I specced the space saver spare wheel when I ordered it. The handbook gives instructions on fitting the space-saver in the event of a puncture of the original, and the only warning is keeping your speed below 50mph. There is no indication that it shouldn't be used if you have the xDrive system.
