Twice, once when I was 18 and again when I was 21. Both girls were hurt. I don't care how tough you are, it cuts deep.
I was cheated on pretty much in the same manner that I cheated. So I was humbled myself, it cut deep.

I cheated, the guilt cut deep. I got cheated on, that also cut deep.

Never was worth it to me, but I had to make the mistake twice to learn, and experience the other end once to really understand the full depth of it.

Married now, and yet the temptations and the spiritual attacks are harder now than I have ever experienced before. Definitely could not endure this alone.
