Fair points all - but in current form - E 450 coupe pictured with 20" wheels... Even if the concept car is on 22s... which looking at the rotors... makes me think not - there is a LOT more safety cage on the Benz compared with the Genesis concept. Look from the top of the wheel up to the top of the door. That's all I'm saying.

IIHS has been updating side-impact tests to reflect real-world SUV/Truck collisions, and it is changing the way sedans and coupes are made. You don't have to fail a crash test rating to "fail" a crash test raiting. A rating of "fair" will do plenty of damage in the premium market.
