I know the 3.0si shares the same brakes as the e46 330i and this was a common upgrade for the 323/325 owners so I'm sure it can be done. RealOEM.com is helpful in cross referencing part numbers but you might want to look into what the e46 guys did (e46fanatics.com, bimmerforums, etc.)
