Egypt spec cars don't have connected or BMW apps (plugin). Why do you need plugin anyway? I would understand if you were missing the other apps, but plugin is just a different iPod interface. The snap in adaptor allows you to use the integrated antenna, charges the phone and connects to the music on the phone.
