I’ve had multiple 3 series loaners in the 3 years of owning an x1 (now x2 m35i) and I always tried to fiddle with the windows on the 3 series because it seemed like one was cracked.
I’m not saying the x1/x2 was quieter, just different, more uniform, while the 3 series seemed to be coming from somewhere...I just couldn’t pinpoint it.
