Drove a 370Z Nismo right before buying my 3.0i Z4. The shifting was vague and it felt like the clutch was from a truck. The rear view mirror was useless, the interior was too Japanese for me too many red LEDs. The whole experience was just not good. Drove the Z4 40' and fell in love. It is not as fast/quick, but who cares.
