Very good question. My speculation is that they will all be 2016, especially since all 300 cars will be built in 2016. Also, you may recall, all of the i8s built in 2014 were 2014 models. Other than the i8s delivered at Monterey, US 2014 deliveries didn't start until the last week of September.
