Just looked at the BMW car configuration and it looks like BMW have changed the auto box. My X1 X line 2 litre petrol definitely has an 8 speed auto box. I believe it is based on the ZF auto box but may be an Aisin box. My car I recall was made on the 5/12/2017 and delivered on the 28/12/2017.
Great car achieving 40 to 45 mpg on a French and Swiss motorway run fully loaded. A slightly larger boot would be great.
