So the Sun finally showed itself after 9 months of waiting and the timing was perfect- regardless that we all left sun burned. We met and started off in the great water town of Gerolstein. We hit a few roads as the route led to Bimmer mecca -- Nurburgring. Lot's people and lots of adrenaline. We first parked to spectate what turned out to be 3 motorbikes that bit it hard. Took about an hour to clean the track and remove the debris. At which point I asked dlmpesh if she was ready for a lap-- without hesitation she responded with "I'm chomping at the bit". So off we went and tattooed the Ring with our tread marks at every curve. After our round we met back up and returned to Gerolstein for an outstanding dinner meal. What a fantastic Sunday.
