Regarding the 20" wheels, they are optional and you ordered them. Also, they have RFT tires, which are harsh as compared to non-RFT. It shouldn't be a surprise that the tires are harsh.
Regarding the size of the boot, again, you chose an X2 over an X1. The size of the boot shouldn't be a surprise.
I agree with your comment about using your foot to open the rear hatch. It's flakey. I rarely use it.
I also have noticed that the rear camera gets dirty and/or gets foggy. I always wipe it off with my finger in the morning before I drive away.
