I could be wrong about this, but many turbo cars continue to pump oil through the turbos to cool them after hard driving and then shutting down. There used to be turbo failure due to not properly cooling a turbo car down after hard driving. Pumping oil through the turbos after shutting down has all but eliminated this.
Also, many cars' electric fans, turbo or not, will continue to run after shutting down.
