As a comment, having had red leather on my E46, it shows wear the fastest, so you have to make sure it's always conditioned (I always do that regardless of color). Good luck man, and keep us posted.
If you were local, had no extended, and your car was new like mine, I'd trade with you man. I see this kind of trade almost impossible to achieve mostly due to distance, but doesn't hurt to try.

yeah, I can see how red would show aging the fastest but I would love to have it regardless
I actually wouldnt mind having silver interior. For me, everything but beige will do. Beige is just IMO an old man's color except when it's on a red car.
