Double check that your warning isn't by mileage (time) or the actual wear sensor on the pads. The cost of other brake pads that are/may be better is not a whole lot different so go with whatever makes you comfortable, they will not ever check the type of brake pad you put in when you return the lease. We have been lucky with my wife's '16 which is coming up on 50K miles and is still on the original brake pads front and back. I just swapped to winter tires not long ago and there's plenty of life left in the pads..
