Yeah he was running pretty decent up until the failure - just glad it wasn't Honda related.

Yes Honda has an immense amount of work to do to catch up with Merc & Ferrari - and likely not to catch either in terms of HP by the end of the season. And yes definitely more difficult since both of them will be bringing upgrades of their own throughout the season. Overall package though - RBR showed promise today possibly being able to close the gap with Ferrari while still considerably down on power. But yes they do have a long ways to go. I'm going to chose to view Baku through RBR colored glasses despite just a 4th & DNF

Mercedes is just in a league of their own - they are just so good at every faucet of the sport. At least Bottas is bringing a good game this year & it's not 4 straight for Hamilton to start. Ugh.
