Australian X1 pricing seems decent compared to the US actually, even though we usually get ripped off here. $50,000 USD is about $68,000 AUD which isn't far off the mark for a 25i with a lot of kit. £46,000 = $98,000 AUD... ouch! In our neighbour New Zealand the 25i without options is $83,500 NZD (= $75,000 AUD). Seems like BMW is being aggressive here to go head to head with Mercedes which dominates the premium sector.
