Downtown is really pleasant. Check out REI's store, it's worth killing an hour there. We also made the drive to Mt St Helens. Its a long day trip, but if it is something you're into it is pretty interesting.

I would love to ski as I'm sure my cousins would as well. Going to look up at the Olympic Peninsula now. I can't wait to see some mountains etc. Much needed scenery change from South fla.
