I am also just one week into X1 ownership and I am really impressed (this is my first BMW). I REALLY like the HUD - this is the future. I was out yesterday and wanted to try the Satnav but had already started driving - I have voice control so I thought I would give it a try but we have a really awkward address for recognition - never fear, the system got it second attempt and then "Start Guidance" - top marks
