Which part are you going to? I have only been to South Park. If you go that far take Route 66 as much as possible. It's a pretty drive and some of the stops are fun. If you are looking for somewhere to stay I enjoyed the El Tovar. Good food there as well. Great time of year to go. I hope there is some snow involved. Seeing snow on the tops and being able to view the color changes to the bottom is amazing. Lots of wildlife to see as well.
