This would be my second winter with my car and it is a blast in the snow. I opted for X-Ice tires (considered the Pilot Alpins as well) since I do most of the driving in the city - so generally at lower speeds - and I am happy with them.
Busy drive yesterday with all the snow and the city being slow at cleaning, but I enjoyed every second of it - safely. I do have the M-Perf front lip and my car looks like a snow plow on occasion, but I take it easy when the snow is deep and so far I had no incidents. I also have the LSD and I have to say it really adds to the fun in the snow. Traction is better, but you can spin much easier
I tend to drive with Dtc on in the snow (or however they call having the yellow lamp on
), since it allows a greater level of wheel spin before it cuts the power.
