Seriously though, after 4.5 months of driving, I agree with all her points. Tyre noise is my only complaint. Event hough mine is 18" + RFTs, unlike the test car (19"), I still find the noise a bit too much for a BMW. It's very quiet on new road surfaces. But that's just 5% of all UK roads. It's a compromise that I'm "OK" with, considering the huge cargo space you get without the spare tyre under the boot floor.

Hmmm...all this is making me think I'll dump my 18" RFTs sooner rather than later. That being the case, can anyone tell me if a full size spare will fit under the luggage area, or only an emergency spare?
