It SOUNDS logical but when the yayhoo cuts in front of me and I smash into him, I want to confirm it's not my fault

I would think at least one thoroughfare has/had some sort of yield requirement (...
e.g. stop sign, "YIELD" lettering on the actual asphalt, a flashing yellow, etc.).
